"In a Hole”
“I have been thinking how he is going to get out of the hole he is in,” said the former Minister of Finance (Mr W. Nash) in an address at the Civic Theatre last evening, when he claimed that the Prime Minister (Mr Holland) was now in difficulties because of the lifting of subsidies. “With the help of my colleagues I hope to keep him there for another two years, and then you will make sure that he never comes out again,” said Mr Nash, amid laughter from the audience.
