MR CHURCHILL BUYS ANOTHER HORSE
(Special Correspondent N.Z.P.A.) LONDON. May 23. Mr Winston Churchill, who already owns two racehorses, has bought a third —an unraced two-year-old named Canyon Kid. Canyon Kid will be trained at Epsom by Walter Nightingall, who already has charge of Mr Churchill’s other two horses. Colonist II and Cybarine. Colonist II has had two wins this season, but Cybarine, so far, has been unplaced. There is a possibility that Colonist 11, which is French bred, may be entered for the £20,000 Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe at Longchamps next month.
