The New Brighton Power Boat Club held races at Pleasant Point on Saturday. Results:— I Jonathan Trophy (B Class boats, four laps, six miles).—Myro B (J. Barbour) 1, Pacific Star (D. V. Syme) 2. Time, lOmin 58sec. J. L. Hay Trophy (C Class Hydroplanes). —Pacific Imp (D. V. Syme) 1, Blondie (F. Turner) 2. Tempo (R. Smith) 3. Time, llmin 38sec. Combined Race for B and C Class Boats (two laps, three miles). —Clipper (M. Williams) 1, Pacific Star (j. Younger) 2, Red--wing (L. James) 3. Time, 3min. Second Combined Race for B and C Class Boats.—Blondie (F. Turner) 1, Pacific Star (J. Younger) 2, Pacific Imp (D. Syme) 3. Time, 4min 13sec.
