FOXFABLE WINS HANDICAP

(New Zealand Press Association) WHANGAREI, April 2. The weather was dull but fine for the second day of the Whangarei Racing Club’s autumn meeting. There was a record attendance. Foxfable, the outsider but one in the Autumn Handicap, paid a dividend of £32 10s for a win, and was one leg of the double which returned £62 15s 6d for ten shillings. The other leg was Silver Blue. The totalisator handled £71,814, which included £3625 on the doubles totalisator, compared with £57,575 on the second day last autumn, making a total for the meeting of £131,320 10s, compared with £103,103 last year.
