OLD VIC THEATRE SCHOOL
THREE NEW ZEALANDERS ACCEPTED (New Zewaiia rress Association) WELLINGTON, April 1. Three New Zealanders have been accepted to enter the Old Vic Theatre School, London, for a course beginning in August. They were selected from 11 applicants. An announcement was made at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Drama Council to-day that Mr Clive Revell (Wellington). Miss Averill Stephens (Dunedin), and Miss Susan Tunnington (Tauranga) had been accepted to enter the school. N.Z. DRAMA SOCIETY OFFICERS (New Zealana Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 2. The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Drama Society on Saturday:— president. Mr G. H. A. Swan (Wellington); vice-pr ?sidents. Messrs D. I. Macdonald (Christchurch) and C. G. Kirk (Nelson); executive. Wellington area. Messrs Craig, McKenzie. R. Hogg and Swan; North Island, Messrs C. P. Brown (Wanganui), N. Byrne (Levin), T. M. N. Rodgers (Manawatu), C. E. Weston Wacher (Napier); South Island, Messrs A. R. Dunlop (Invercargill). G. Griffiths (Timaru). Kirk and Macdonald.
