North Canterbury gained an outright win over Suburban by 144 runs in a twoday junior representative match concluded yesterday. The game was played at Dudley Park, Rangiora. Scores were:—

Mr D. A. Colville hag ben appointed chairman of the management committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council. Messrs J. L. Kerr, W. M. Wallace, and W. A. Hadlee have beeen appointed selectors for the New Zealand team.
