OPPONENT SUSPENDS HIS CAMPAIGN (New Zealand Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH. November 7. Mr M. H. Oram. National candidate for Manawatu, was operated on for appendicitis on Saturday morning. The Labour candidate. Mr B. Rodgers, has suspended his campaign until arrangements have been made to continue Mr Oram’s campaign for him. Mr Oram, who had a majority of 2067 at the 1946 election, was to have spoken in several other electorates.
