Ambush Near Manila.—-Three supporters of the President of the Philippines (Mr Elpidio Quirino) were killed and four others were wounded today in an ambush in the Cavite Province, south of Manila. The party was machine-gunned when returning by jeep from a canvass of rural areas for the Presidential election on Tues-day-—Manila, November 6.
