EMPIRE GAMES FLAG FROM SOUTH AFRICA
(New Zealand Press Association.) AUCKLAND. October 26. An Empire Games flag, which was brought from South Africa by the All Blacks’ captain, Mr F. R. Allen, was handed over to the organising committee for the Games in Auckland at a meeting of the directors of Empir® Games (New Zealand), Ltd., to-day. Mr Allen said the flag was given to him at an athletic meeting held in South Africa. “I feel sure.” he said, “that South Africa will send a good team, and I know that many of t h ® ,r best athletes are now training to take part.”
