FOUR PUBLIC BEQUESTS
(New Zealand Press Association.) DUNEDIN, October 14. Four public bequests are made under the will of Mr William Downie Stewart. The estate has been sworn for probate at under £42,000. The bequests are: £lOO to the Patiepts and Prisoners’ Aid Society for general charitable purposes: £ 100 to the University of Otago for the Hocken Library: £5O to the Society lor the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ig ?:eneral charitable purposes: and o the Otago Boys' High School for use as the rector for the time being thinks fit.
