FORBURY PARK CLUB

TROTTING

TO-DAY’S PROSPECTS

On Approval holds his place as favourite and will probably be at a short price when the fotalisator closes for the President’s Handicap at the Forbury Park Trotting Club’s meeting to-day. Most opposition to On Approval is expected to come from the Jubilee Cup candidate. Attack, and from Premier Royal, which won the Henry Mace Handicap in 4min 22 2-ssec at the New Brighton Trotting Club's meeting on September 24. If he races up to that form, Premier Royal should have On Approval and Attack doing their best over the concluding stages.

On Approval, which has shown good form over all distances, must also be conceded a good chance in the sprint, the Farewell Handicap, in which he is nicely placed on the scratch mark. If he takes his place in the field, On Approval may be the hardest foy Positive. Baby Grand, and Black Machine, which all raced well in the sprint last week, to beat. Although the track conditions may be changed, form shown on the first day of the meeting may work out well. Horses in form include: 11 a.m.—Tahuna Handicap: Ripcord, Dictation, Lochinvar. 11.45 a.m.—St. Kilda Handicap: Nature Girl, Mystery Dillon, Cottesloe. 12.35 p.m.—Domain Handicap: Nebula; Peggydale, Desert Flight. 1.25 p.m.—President’s Handicap: On Approval, Attack, Premier Royal. 2.10 p.m.—Churchill Handicap: Bessie Grattan, Lady Inchcape, Conceit. 3 p.m.—Royal Handicap: Air Mail, Allanah, Great Wonder. 3.50 p.m.—Victory Handicap: Sandy Logan-Foreign Lady bracket.
