STOCK EXCHANGES MARKETS ACTIVE Markets were active on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday, anc prices showed little variation from recen' levels. Banks were comparatively neglected. Frozen meats, insurance, anc loans were in strong demand, and there was fair support for woollens. Little interest was shown in shipping. Fashionable industrials all commanded fairly strong support.
