TAYLOR’S MISTAKE CLUB
Such was the vigilance of club members who had patrolled the beach during last season that no drownings had taken place in the bay. and 12 rescues had been carried out by club members, said the report of the secretary of the Taylor' s Mistake Surf and Life-Saving Club.' presented to the annual meeting of the club. The following officers were elected for the forthcoming season;—patron. Mr ABarrett: president. Mr J. A. Young.' senior vice-president. Mr E. S. Velvin: captain. Mr L. G. Moorhouse, vice-cap* tain. Mr G. Pratley; secretary-treasurer. Mr R. E. Russell; committee. Messrs B Ballin. H. Dunlop. J. Hanafln, G. Hobson. H. Hobson. R. M. Rattray. R. Smith: auditor. Mr T. Ritchie. Twenty-five vicepresidents were elected.
