MALTESE DISPUTE
CABINET SUPPORT FOR PRIME MINISTER _, _ T LONDON, October 11. ine Valetta correspondeat of the United Press says that the entire Maltese Cabinet and eight Labour members of Parliament to-night signed a declaration supporting the Prime Minister (Dr. Boffa) against Mr Dom Mintoff, who resigned from the Cabinet recently in protest against the handling of negotiations with Britain. Mr Mintoff is ihe leader of a group which onposed Dr. Boffa’s withdrawal of the ultimatum to Britain. The ultimatum threatened to seek American or other support in return for the use of Malta as a base if Britain refused Malta further economic aid.
Bos Murphy Beaten.— Jack Braddock, of Manchester, outpointed Bos Murphy, of New Zealand, over eight rounds at Harringay Stadium. Braddock was aggressive for most of the contest.—London, October* 11.
