Theft from Chinese Shop.— While three Chinese members of the firm of H. W. Chan and Company, fruiterers. Dominion road, Auckland, were enjoying the Chinese National Day festivities, thieves entered their shop and stole £l5O in silver. The robbery was discovered yesterday morning. The rear shop door ard the bedroom door had been forced with a jemmy. The cash had been left in three canvas bags in the bedroom.— (P.A.)
