4 THREE ACCOUNTANTS AT HASTINGS (Neto Zealand Press Association.) HASTINGS, October 11. A Hastings syndicate of three public accountants has won first prize of £lO.OOO ii. the latest overseas lottery. Members of the syndicate are Messrs J. A. N. Hogg. J. W. Laws, and K. W. Dane, all of whom are employed in the accountancy firm of Harvey and Laws. They have been taking a ticket each week for about 18 months. By dispatching their investments in advance at the rate of £lO a time, they have been able to book the same ticket. N t 23115, in each lottery.
