ROYAL RACEHORSE.—The steeplechaser, Monaveen, which carried Princess Elizabeth’s colours to victory in the Chichester Handicap at Fontwell Park, Sussex, last Monday. Monaveen is jointly owned by the Queen and Princess Elizabeth, but is raced by the Princess, whose newly-registered colours are scarlet jacket, with purple hooped sleeves, and black cap. The horse is a Grand National candidate.
