SIR WILLIAM GILLATT
INVITATION TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND Sir William Giliiatt. a past president of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. and obstetrician to Princess ' Elizabeth has been invited by the New Zealand Obstetrical, and Gynaecological Society lo visit New Zealand in 1950. This information was given in an interview last evening by the president of the society (Dr. 1,. C. L Averill) It is thought that Sir William Gillian may be the representative of the college to conduct examinations in Sydney and Melbourne for the degree of Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians .and Gynaecologies Tie could then visit New Zealand after the examinations and address the different branches of the New Zealand society. Should Sir William Giliiatt be unable to make the journey, either to Australia or New Zealand", the representative of the college who will conduct the examinations in Australia will make the visit.
