ABSENTEE OWNERS
MR FRASER QUESTIONED ON POLICY (New Zealand Press Association ; WELLINGTON. September 7. Notice to ask the Prime Minister 'Mr Fraser) if the recent declaration bv the Minister of Lands (Mr C. F. Skinner) that the absentee ownership of farm lands would not be permitted was statement of Government policy was given by Mr J. J. Maher (Opposition. Otaki) in the House of Representatives to-day. Mr Maher asked if legislation would be introduced this session to make such a policy effective.
