HASTINGS, September 6. Tlie New Zealand cricketers had a
comfortable win over a strong South of England side, beating it by an innings and three runs. In reply to New Zealand’s 367. Mann's team could make only 159 and 205. It was New Zealand’s twelfth win in 31 matches. On a wicket that was never difficult, the New Zealanders had the measure of bowlers who had played in the tests or are of test class, and had, r no difficulty in removing the potentially strong batting side.
