Flying-boat Loses Engine.— The huge flying-boat Philippine Mars, landed safely to-day with 54 occupants after dropping an engine 440 miles out to sea. The Philippine Mars left the Alameda air station, California, last night for Honolulu. -Honolulu, Sept, 6.
