Whistling Buoy.— After nearly two years on station at the entrance to Lyttelton Harbour, the whistling buoy had been brought in for an overhaul, said the engineer-in-chief (Mr J. A. Cashin) at a meeting of the Lyttelton Harbour Board yesterday. Apart from considerable wear of the chafing ring and mooring chains, it was in quite good condition, he added.
