Chimney Fires.— The Christchurch Fire Brigade answered two calls to chimney fires yesterday. The .irst was at 2.14 pm. to a house at 88 Chapter street. St. Albans, occupied by Laura Pryde. At 9.51 pm. a call was received to a house at 37 Hawthorne street, Papanui, occupied by Victor Butcher There was no damage from either fire.
