RECENT ADDITIONS TO DONALD’S TEAM

Vicereine and Earl Pine are recent additions to C. S. Donald’s team at Belfast. A five-year-old mare, Vicereine showed her best form when trained by L. C. Morland, Frisco Lady is by Jack Potts from Daisy Pointer, which also left Sir Gowan, Fascination, Frisco Boy, Mitaya, Gallant Pointer, Daisy Scott, Ladylike, and Daisy A Logan Pointer mare, Daisy Pointer is out of Dayspring, by California from Daybreak, by Vancleve from Moonbeam. A five-year-old gelding, Earl Pine gained a win and five minor placings last season for S. August, who trained him at Epsom, his win being over Manonee in the F. J. Smith Memorial Handicap at the Cambridge Trottifig Club’s meeting on April 2. In that race, Earl Pin® finished on well to record 4min 34 3-5 sec from a 4min 44sec mark. To Race in Sydney Bien Sur has been sold to go to Australia to race at the night trotting meetings, which are expected to begin at Harold Park (Sydney) at the end of this month. A Nelson Fame mare, Lady Fame is out of Her Ladyship, by Logan Pointer from Lady Derby, by Rothschild from Norice.
