The cost of fitting out the coal hulk Darra to make it resemble the Charlotte Jane, one of the First Fpur Ships is to be met by the Lyttelton Harbour Board as its share of the cost of the centennial celebrations at Lyttelton.

Sutton, secretary of the committee arranging the re-enactment of the landing at Lyttelton, asked for the loan of the vessel, which was somewhat similar to the Charlotte Jane.
