DEPUTATION REQUESTS RETICULATION

DELAY IN RICCARTON SCHEME EXPLAINED

A deputation of nearly 20 residents of Kenilworth street, a blind street oft Clarence street. Addington, asked the Riccarton Borough Council last evening to reticulate the street with the borough water supply. The Mayor <Mr H. S. S. Kyle) said that the work was being held up because of the amalgamation proposal with the Christchurch City.
