WESTPORT RESULTS Further awards at the Westport Competitions Society’s festival, which was held last week, were:— Westport Rotary Club’s Cup for mos! promising competitor in the elocution classes: Colleen Wells (Westport). Society’s Cup for championship under 16 (recitation, humorous recitation, and sight reading clashes): Cblleen Wells. W. T. Keesing Cup fnr best enunciation and pronunciation in elocution classes, boys or girls, under 18: Janet May Ashton (Westport). Truman Challenge Cup for highest aggregate, national dancing: Josephine Pickens (Christchurch) Mrs Orma Smith’s medal for most correct wearing of the kilt: Josephine Pickens. Special award donated by O'Neill Brothers for most correct costume in all character and dancing classes: June Clark (Wanganui). John Kilkenny Cup for highest aggrefor Buller district competitions m all dancing classes under 12: Kathleen Veronica Peggie (Westport). Anonymous Cup for sepior elocution: Walter Watson (Millerton).
