McLennan's team, Indianote, which won two races earlier in the season, showed her best form at the Easter meeting at Addington when she finished third to Sand Piper and Bull’s Eye in the Cashmere Handicap. An Indianapolis mare, Indianote should eventually win her way to good company. Whipster, Victory Globe, and Silent Knight make most appeal of the horses on the 12 yards mark. The winner of two races on the Epsom track earlier in the season, Silent Knight showed that he was back to his best form by winning over a sprint distance at Hutt Park last week. Whipster and Victory Globe both have some splendid performances to their credit, and they should carry solid Support. Of those further back in the handicaps, Bull’s Eye should carry most support. One of the most travelled and most raced pacers in training, Bui’s Eye has been placed in 17 of his 32 races this season. The runner-up to Tom Gundy in the Waitaki Sprint Handicap at the Oamaru Trotting Club’s meeting last week. Bull’s Eye should be in the picture with Lyceum, Whipster, and Silent Knight if C. R. A placegetter in four of her last seven races.
