ANNUAL DOG TRIALS The Cheviot Collie Club’s thirty-sixth annual collie dog trials began yesterday on Mr A. Gillanders’s property. Mount Seddon, Domett. The judge was Mr J. Radcliffe, of Surrey Hills, and the timekeepers, Messrs D. McLaren and J. Paton. Results were as follows: Open event: G. Greive’s Roch (97 J Boints) 1, R. M. Wilson’s Top (97) 2, W. lampier-Crossley’s Nell (96J) 3. Maiden event.—M. B. Leslie’s Bob (92) 1, S. Pettigrew’s Lassie (911) 2, F. Peach’s Bob (91) 3. District event.—W. Dampier-Crossley’s Nell (961) I- F- Peach’s Bob (91) 2, G. Hurley’s Ned (90) 3. District Maiden Class.—F. Peach's Bob (91) 1, G.'Hurley’s Ned (90) 2, F. Peach’s Maid (89) 3.
