Won Two Races Casameter, a place-gettfer in three of his four races at the Hawera Trotting Club's Easter meeting, was allowed to pay surprisingly good dividends when he won two races at the Manawatu Trotting Club’s meeting on Saturday. One of J. D. Litten’s team at West Melton. Casameter is a five-year-old gelding by Casanova from Palometer, the dam of Horace Roy, which is owned by Mr H. R. Brien (Wellington). Palometer, which was bred by Mr S. G. Lemon, who owns Casameter, is b.v Grattan Loyal from Childwood, by Woodchild from the Smith O’Brien mare, Jessie B. Out of Del Rio Mr E. Smith's Flying Smith, the winner of the first division of the Kairanga Handicap at the Manawatu Trotting Club’s meeting on Saturday, is by Peter Smith from Del Rio. by Jack Potts from Ursuline, by Our Thorpe from St. Ursula, by Papanui from Lucy Hinton, by Bell Boy.
