U.S. ATOMIC COMMISSION TO GIVE ISOTOPES WASHINGTON, February 27. The United States Atomic Energy Commission has announced that its entire range of radio-active isotopes will be made available free in the battle against cancer. More than 50 different radio-active elements are to be supplied free to American scientists who are studying the cause, nature, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. The commission has set aside 450.0)0 dollars for the first year of its new campaign against a cjjsease which kills 200.000 Americans each year.
