WEST COAST The forecast for the West Coast of the South Island is:— Moderate north-west winds; fair to cloudy and mild. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER . Yesterday in Christchurch was fine and sunny, with a light north-east wind The maximum temperature was 69.9 degrees. At midnight the sky was clear, and there was a moderate north-east wind. The temperature was 57.8 degrees, and the barometer, at 30.030 inches (10'16.9 millibars), was falling. Rainfall for 24 hours ended 1 a.m. ..
