CHAMPIONSHIP PAIRS AT KARAPIRO “The Press” Special Service CAMBRIDGE. February 28. The championship pairs, of one mile and a quarter, at the New Zealand rowing regatta at Lake Karapiro on Saturday, was won by Avon No. 2 (G. Agassiz and P. Roberts), not by D. Gould and H. Gould (Avon) as reported yesterday. The Gould brothers did not defend their title because they rowed in the eight.
