CHRISTCHURCH MAN INJURED AT ASHBURTON

When the motor-cycle he was riding skidded in shingle at Ashburton on Saturday morning, George Alfred Burt, aged 29, of 134 Wordsworth street, Christchurch, was thrown off and suffered head injuries, minor abrasions and concussion. He was admitted to the Ashburton Public Hospital, and his condition last evening was reported to be satisfactory. His brother, who was riding on the pillion, was not injured.
