REGATTA AT LYTTELTON Large entries were received for most of the events in the inter-club sailing regatta which was held at Lyttelton on Saturday in good sailing weather. The regatta was attended by a few hundred spectators, who were treated to some excellent sailing in the various events. Handicap events were held in the morning and championship events in the afternoon. Jimpy, sailed by George Brasell, won the L4-footer championship. Two of the Mander brothers, from the estuary, secured double wins. The 22 entrants in the Idle Along class race included a Wellington boat, Kirimini.
