AUSTRALIAN WOMAN’S RECORD
(N.2. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 8 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Feb. 27. Marjorie Jackson, of Lithgow, New South Wales, equalled the Australian record and broke the Victorian women’s 100 yards record when she ran the distance in llsec. She won the Victorian title by two yards from Kay Coffey, in a slight breeze, which officials say was not sufficient to debar a successful record claim.
