TWO GRASS FIRES
The Christchurch Fire Brigade answered two calls to grass fires yesterday. The first was at 4.7 p,m. on a property occupied by Mr P. McMillan at 38 Peer street, and the second at 7.30 p.m. on the property of Mr E. Satchell, 37 Urunga road, where slight damage was ’ done to a paling fence and a shed.
