RANGI-RURU SCHOOL
The Rangiruru Girls’ School swimming sports were held in the school baths. Mr Norman Batchelor assisted with the judging. The senior championship was won by Judith Johnson with 14 points. The run-ner-up was Elizabeth Buchanan with 5 points. The intermediate championship was won by Helen Watson with 12 points, and Jocelyn Beadel was runner-up. In the junior championship, Alison Webley gained 5 points, and Rosemary Beadel 3 points. The clan relay was won by Glamis (10), with Stirling second and Balmoral third.
