DRIVERS SUPPORT CARPENTERS
“LOCKOUT IMPOSED AT AUCKLAND” (P.A.) WELLINGTON, February 24. The national council of the New Zealand Drivers’ Federation, meeting in Wellington this week, endorsed the action of the national council of the New Zealand Federation of Labour in supporting the carpenters in their dispute. The council of the Drivers’ Federation also expressed concern “at the lock-out which has been imposed on the carpenters in the Auckland district.”
