CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER

The, weather in Christchurch yesterday was overcast, with some rain and a moderate south-west wind. The maximum temperature was 56 degrees. Af midnight the sky was clear, and a moderate north-east wind was blowing. The temperature was 48.9 degrees, and the barometer, at 29.852 inches (1010.9 millibars), was unsteady.
