NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North Canterbury Electric Power Board at its meeting on the 15th day of Februarv, 1949, RESOLVED to raise by special order under Section 15 of the Finance Act No. 2, ' 1936, a loan of £50,000 for a term of 25 years with interest not exceeding £3 5s per centum per annum, for the purpose of extending its reticulation system in 5 those portions of the Rangiora, Kowai, 5 Eyre, Oxford, Ashley, Waipara, Cheviot. and Amuri Counties within the Board’s j district, the said loan to be repaid by . half-yearly instalments extending over the . term of the loan, and to be secured by a . special rate of l/12d in the £ struck on i the capital value of all rateable property t in the special area cited above.
