INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS
At the annual meeting of the Christchurch group of the Automobile and Aeronautical Engineers’ Institution the chairman. Mr F. V. Thomas, presided over an attendance of 32 members. In his report he said the group now numbered 89 members, including the Burnham sub-group. Ten meetings were held during the year, all of which were well attended. The following,, were elected to the committee: Messrs F. V. Thomas (chairman). C. Butcher, H. A. S. Cardinal, C. W. Cochrane (honorary secretary). D. T. Costellbe. G. H. Dunkley. G. W. Fairweather, I. M. MacKenzie. R. E. Smith. H. Wooff.
