LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
1. Letters sent to the Editor for printing must be written in ink on one side of the paper only and writers must send in their names and addresses in full, whether they wish these to be printed or not. 2 Writers must say clearly whether or not their letters are being or have been Sent to other papers. 3. The Editor cannot return or keep any letter which for any reason is unsuitable for printing, nor can he acknowledge unsuitable letters, although this will be done where, it seems to be needful, or enter into any correspondence about letters sent in. 4. Letters must not be of more than 150 words in length.
D.—See paragraph, General News column, yesterday’s issue. 607940 (Fairlie). —(i) The secretary of the Christchurch branch' of the R.S.A. (Mr L. A. McKenzie) says badges are on order, but does not know when they will be delivered; the shortage has not been a long one, so far. (ii) In regard to the “R.S.A. Review,” he says, you should have complained to your local branch and the complaint would then have been investigated. Onlooker.—There was nothing invidious in a simple statement of fact. Smoke Them Out, Moscow. Outlook, Douglas Social Credit, and Flat Dweller.—You do not comply with our rules. Nor do we like the signs of your writing as a syndicate. Interested.—We were already trying to get the information you want. W.J.-We shall print whatever ruling is made public. Simple Simon.—You reply to statements that do not appear in the footnote.
