Dr. T. Morton, new assistant medical superintendent of the Christchurch Hospital, has advised the North Canterbuy Hospital Board that his passage from England is booked for the third week in March. Mr J. H. Parker, manager of the New Zealand Rugby team to tour South Africa this year, has completed a tour of the South Island, meeting players in the team. The following council was elected by the New Zealand Society of Accountants at its annual meeting at New Plymouth yesterday:—Messrs G. H. V. Bindon (Hamilton), R. D. Brown (Hawke’s Bay), I. T. Cook.
