AID FOR PALESTINE REFUGEES
U.S. SENATE APPROVES BILL (Rec. 10 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Feb. 21. The United States Senate to-day passed a bill authorising a contribution of 16,000,000 dollars by the United States for aid to Palestine war refugees. The money is to go into a special United Nations fund, and will be used to aid 470,000 Arab and Jewish refugees scattered throughout the Middle East. The bill will go to the House of Representatives for approval.
