WEST COASTBULLER TOURNAMENT CHRISTCHURCH TEAMS PARTICIPATE From Our Own Reporter WESTPORT, February 22. The West Coast-Buller Women’s Bowling Centre's annual tournament opened at Westport on Monday, and representatives of all West Coast clubs and, others from Nelson, Christchurch, and the North Island took part. Play is being held on the Westport R.S.A. and Westport Club s Br, f?ie S Mayor of Westport (Mr J. M. Robertson) welcomed the visitors to the Buller district. Mr J. M. Fairbairn, president of the Buller Bowling Centre, and Mrs W. D. Wilson, president of the women’s combined centre, also welcomed the visiting players. At the end of two rounds Mrs Alexander's four from Cobden, Mrs K. Mara’s, Mrs P. Morgan’s, and Mrs L. Smith’s fours from Westport had won both games in section A. In section B Mrs Britten’s (Sydenham), Mrs I. Reid’s (Westport R. Mrs Murray’s (Seddonville), and Mrs Knowles’s (Blackball) fours had each won two games. Results, with abbreviations: R.S.
