All offerings, which totalled 14,789 bales, were cleared at the sale of wool in London to-day—the concluding sale of the first seades. Offerings included 4538 bales from New Zealand an I 8702 from Australia. Competition was keen, with the home trade receiving strong support from European buyers at firm rates. Throughout the series a total of 134,000 bales was offered, of which 131.000 were sold. The home trade bought 53,000 bales and the Continent 78,000.
