H. V. SMITH WINS TWO RANGE COMPETITION The Christchurch Defence Rifle Club fired the final two-range competition at Tai Tapu on Saturday. H. V. Smith was the winner with 93 points, closely"'fdflowed by H. Harries with 90. Results were:—H. V. Smith, 300 yards 47 points, 600 yards 46 points (handicap 1), total 94; H. Harries, 48, 42 (1), 91; Tindale, 42, 41 (8), 91; N. Kitchen, 42. 40 (9), 91; D. Murray, 47, 42 (1), 90;'J Chapman. 44, 43 (3), 90; E. Graham, 44, 43 ( 3). 90; G. Cromie, 43. 43 ( 4), 90; J. Upritchard. 35, 43 (12), 90; R. E. Taylor. 43 41 (6), 90; R. Cummings, 42. 41 (6), 89: E. Truman, 44, 43 (scr), 87; W. Tabley. 41. 39 (3), 87; D. McKenzie. 43. 41 (2), 86; J. The final of the two-range aggregate resulted in a win for H. V. Smith, who shot consistently to win from D. Murray by one point. Leading aggregates were: H. V. Smith. 451. 1; D. Murray. 410, 2; E.
