Notifiable Diseases There was one f’.eath from poliomyelitis and one from tuberculosis on the West Coast last week. During the week notifiable diseases in Canterbury reported to the Department of Health were:—scarlet fever, three cases; tuberculosis, eight; hydatids, two; food poisoning, four. One case of poliomyelitis and one of tuberculosis were reported from the West Coast.
