ANTI
Sir,—The anti-betting and antii booze contributors to your correspondence seem to be more windy, more ; wordy, and more numerous than the others. Reading their letters one ar- • rives at the conclusion that we must make drink unobtainable, make betting impossible, rear our sons on one island and cur daughter on the other. Even that plan may leave moral stability undecided; but I’ll lay long odds it would produce a school of Olympic swimmers.—Yours, etc.. j _ NO BETS, FEW DRINKS. I February 19, 1949.
